The median home sales price increased over 2018 by 3.6% to $310,400. That’s a healthy leveling out from 2017, when the median home sales price increased to $299,900. That was a 5.4% rise from 2016 numbers.
For Williamson County, the end of the year showed the median home sale price finish at $285,000. The total number of homes sold last year was 10,634.
Deep in the heart of Texas, Travis County showed a rise in the median home sale price of 2.9%. $360,000 was the median price point. Comparing to 2017, the median home sale price was $350,000, that increased .4% from 2016.
In the city of Austin, home clocked in at $375,760. This is a 4.1% rise over the previous year’s median home price. There were 9,357 homes sold inside Austin City Limits.
Lastly, Hays County finished the year at $264,990 as the median home sale price to own a bit of the Hill Country. That’s up 2.3% over the year from 2017 real estate.
